I had been in sales and sales management for quite a long time before I became a full time Realtor. I was a very successful top individual producer, had managed teams, and been an executive on a regional and national level in the technology industry. Literally, a lifetime of sales experience. And along the way, I had taught sales techniques and mentored other sales people.

One of the things I was struggling to understand when I started as an agent in Real Estate was why there weren’t more successful agents, why did so many people fail.

After a few years, I came to understand that the “industry” meaning Brokers and brokerages, office managers, coaches and most people along the food chain simply teach the wrong things. A lot of it may be well meaning but wrong none the less.

My coaching and mentoring approach is to help each agent better understand how the business really works and how they, as a unique individual can be successful. There is not a one size fits all approach. I will help you uncover and implement your unique value proposition that will set you apart from your competition.

And, yes, along the way I will teach you what to say and when to say it too.

So what’s the difference between Coaching and Mentoring?

The coaching program is literally a set of actions I take you through to help you bootstrap your way to success. Or if you have been an agent for a while and are in a rut to get you back on the path to productivity.

When I mentor you, we work closely on how to get your buyers into escrow and how to get that listing contract signed and the listing sold.

Think of the difference between the two as when I coach you that’s about how to maximize your potential when I mentor you, it is the knowledge transfer and the secrets to real estate success.
